Automotive Service Technician

Wolfe Ford Inc. is currently looking for an Automotive Service Technician.


An Automotive Service Technician provides automotive services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safety and according to Ford's quality and time standards on customer and dealer owned vehicles. Complies with Ford and dealership's safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to driveablility suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems, and diagnostic testing of vehicles.


  1. Assure timely and accurate daily documentation of all process information.

  2. Maintain a clean facility including floor, work bench and tool box.

  3. Occasionally assist the maintenance department with routine tasks.

  4. May load and unload product or parts with the side steer loader.

  5. Attend classes and or online courses offered by Ford Motor Company or related companies for required certifications for my job.

  6. Participate in all health, safety, and environmental programs; maintain self-awareness on safety issues and requirements and report any safety concerns to management.

  7. Provide knowledge sharing and training with other team members.

  8. Notifying management team of environmental, quality and production concerns, problems and opportunities.

  9. Foster culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times.

  10. Work in an honest and ethical manner; maintain confidentiality on all business related matters.

  11. Expected to physically report to work on time and is seldom absent.

  12. Complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments.

  13. Maintain a team environment with other departments at all times.

  14. Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere.

  15. Other duties as assigned.



To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certification from a trade or technical school in automotive is desirable.

Prior experience in a relevant field such as automotive industry.

Attention to detail.

Willingness to participate in Ford and in house training.

Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail; and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team.

Knowledge in computers, diagnostic tools and equipment; and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.


Specific physical requirements include:

Occasionally lifting weight up to sixty (pounds).

Operating vehicle lifts.

Pushing brooms, shovels, and etc.

Standing for extended periods of times.

Parts Manager

PARTS MANAGER


Manages the Parts Department to ensure that customer's needs are met and the correct part is obtained the first time; increases focus on business growth, profitability, and employee satisfaction. Oversees all activities of the Parts Department including the monitoring department finances, customer service, monitoring parts and accessories inventory, and merchandising. Review, prepares and submits warranty claims to Ford Motor Company as well as customer repair orders. Will use the Ford Motor Company warranty and policy manual for accurate claims submission as well as labor repair guides. Manages and submits warranty claims through the One Warranty Solution claiming system and uses technical information sources as needed to prepare claims. Works effectively with dealer employees to ensure accurate documentation of customer vehicle concerns, repair causes and technician corrective repair actions for each warranty claim submitted.





  1. Manages inventory to ensure that parts or supplies needed for production are available for workers.

  2. Anticipates the needs of production workers and ensures that all materials needed for production are provided.

  3. Monitor inventory levels

  4. Order parts in advance

  5. Sell manufactured parts to clients and wholesalers

  6. Source new suppliers that are cheaper or have better quality parts.

  7. Plan promotions on parts that are for sale.

  8. Manage inventory for obsolete parts reduction and sell off obsolete parts

  9. Assure timely and accurate daily documentation of all process information.

  10. Maintain a clean facility including desk, parts bins, parts area upstairs and downstairs, and parts warehouse.

  11. Occasionally assist the maintenance department with routine tasks

  12. May load and unload product or parts with the skid steer loader.

  13. Utilize process data, trend analysis and training to monitor, troubleshoot and respond to part stocking.

  14. Attend classes and or online courses offered by Ford Motor Company or related companies for required certifications for my job.

  15. Participate in all health, safety and environmental programs; maintain self-awareness on safety issues and requirements and report any safety concerns to management.

  16. Provide knowledge sharing and training with other team members.

  17. Notifying management team of environmental, quality and production concerns, problems and opportunities.

Knowledge in computers and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.



Specific physical requirements include:

Occasionally lifting weight up to sixty (pounds).

Climbing ladders and or parts lift ladder.

Data entry while seated for greater than one (1) hour.

Pushing brooms, shovels, etc.

Standing for extended periods of time.
